FARx’s founder, Dr. Clive Summerfield, will be a speaker and panellist at the Biometrics
Institute’s upcoming “On the Pulse Conversation” on the Wednesday 28 June 2023
“The conversation will discuss current trends in biometric technologies. It will test
some ideas with the attendees and experts and leave you inspired about what lies
ahead and how we can shape the future.” says the Biometric Institute.

implications for human-machine communications”, said Dr Clive Summerfield, FARx’s
Founder and CEO. “Understanding the biometric data privacy; data protection and
ethical use implications for FARx and other similar technologies will be paramount for
their widespread adoption and acceptance”.
Amongst other topics, Clive will be discussing how fused voice-face recognition
enables new mass market use-cases and the implication for remote employees, for
example, working in highly regulated and high security industries where strong
continuous multi-factor identity authentication of remote employees is mandated.
Intrinsic to these applications is privacy, security, use and management of employees’
personal biometric information. Transparency on these subjects will be fundamental
to the wider adoption of voice-face recognition, not just in this application but across
the wider field of human-machine communication.
